Professional Bio

Andrea serves as assessor for the town of Hamptonburgh and is a former assessor for the towns of Chester and Highlands and Villages of Chester and Washingtonville. Professional leadership positions include: past president of the NYS Association of Towns, NYS Assessors’ Association, Northeast Regional Assessor’s Association, Fellow of the Institute of Assessing Officers, and former editor for the IAO Journal. Andrea also served as legislative liaison for the NYSAA, working with other stakeholders to formulate positions on proposed legislation in the area of assessment and property tax administration. Andrea received her BA degree from Montclair University and her MPA degree from Marist College. She serves/served in a number of leadership roles in Orange County and a Tribute to Women of Achievement honoree, Andrea resides in the town of Crawford with life partner Rick Hubner and together they have five grown children and six grandchildren.
