Membership Information

NYSAA membership benefits include:

Regular

REGULAR MEMBERS include assessors and assessment staff within the local assessor's offices, as well as those responsible for valuation or administration of real property issues for assessment purposes. This membership category also includes government appointed or elected assessors and their staff. Regular members may serve as officers or members of the Executive Board and have full voting rights of the Association.

Associate

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS are individuals other than Regular members with an interest in supporting the avowed purpose and successful operation of the Association. Board of Assessment Review members, county directors, and employees of county or state government are in this category. These members don’t serve as officers or members of the Executive Board and, with the exception of Real Property Tax Directors, don’t have voting rights in the Association. 

Fee: $125.00

Affiliate

AFFILIATE MEMBERS are individuals other than Regular or Associate members with an interest in supporting the avowed purpose and successful operation of the Association. Fee appraisers, tax representatives, and media personnel are in this category. These members shall not serve as officers or members of the Executive Board and do not have voting rights in the Association.
