Mastering the Cost Approach: From foundation to final estimates.
This seminar will be a comprehensive, 6-hour course designed to go from economic theory to practical, hands-on application. The seminar will be broken into 4 segments: vacant land valuation, estimating new construction costs using industry-standard methods, and navigating the complex math behind physical, functional, and external depreciation. By combining the above with many exercises, this seminar will equip the assessor with a step-by-step toolkit to confidently calculate and reconcile property values for new construction and special use properties.
