This one-day seminar explores the valuation of fast-food restaurant properties. Participants will review the different styles of restaurant properties, their physical characteristics, and the factors that influence market value. The course examines the components of value present in restaurant properties, including the distinctions between market value, use value, and going concern value.
Participants will also review industry data, market trends, and demographic considerations that influence fast-food restaurant location and performance. The course concludes with a detailed discussion of the three traditional approaches to value and a case study applying those approaches to the valuation of a fast-food restaurant property.
This course is designed for appraisal and assessment professionals seeking a deeper understanding of how restaurant properties are analyzed and valued in the marketplace.
