The Cornell Seminar on Professional Development is your go-to conference for the education you need to advance in your career! 

Classes start on Monday, July 20, but be sure to plan to attend the welcome cocktail reception and buffet dinner on Sunday, July 19. It’s a time to reconnect with your fellow assessors and share stories!

The two basic certification classes are offered both in person and online and are indicated as hybrid: Course 1: Appraisal Principles and Procedures and Course 2: Application of the Three Approaches to Value. All classes are scheduled for 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m.

A bus to and from the Hotel Ithaca will be provided for classes held on the Cornell campus. Parking and bus passes will not be offered.

The Hotel Ithaca has reserved a block of rooms at the conference rate of $144.00 per night. Please create your reservation within this block, and feel free to reach out to Danyel Ayres at Dayres@harthotels.com with any questions or concerns. Please also note that there is a cutoff date beginning on 6/19/2026, at which time the block rate will be closed and room rates will be subject to change. The hotel is not able to guarantee early check-in on the day of your arrival. Free parking is available onsite, with nearby garage parking validated for registered guests.
Please also remember that if your reservation is to be tax exempt, the hotel will need a signed copy of the tax exempt form presented to the reception desk at the time of check-in.
