Event Details
A fundamental course designed to give a thorough overview of the methodologies and techniques available in the valuation process and assessment administration. This course should also serve as an excellent review for those students who plan to seek their IAO designation.

Note: This class requires a minimum registration of 10 participants in order to be held. If the minimum attendance is not met, the class may be canceled.
Continuing Education Hours / Re-Certification Credits
The Institute of Assessing Officers will award twenty-four (24) re-certification credits to all Institute members who attend this seminar. Eligible assessors and county directors who attend will receive education credit and reimbursement from ORPTS, pursuant to their rules.

Cameras are required to be on at all times during the class in order to receive full credit. This is a multi-day class that will be held over a three week period, with an exam on the last day. The dates for the class are as follows:

Exam: Monday, September 28, 2026. The IAO exam is in person only, and will be held at the Town of Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue, Greenburgh, NY 10607. Registering for this class does not automatically allow you to sit for the IAO exam. To take the exam, you must apply at least 30 days in advance of the exam and pay the fee, unless you are retaking the exam. Click here for application information and form.
