    • Handling joint ownership and household income considerations
    • Common errors and how to avoid them

🌆 Afternoon Session: Low-Income Senior Exemption V4 Administration

  • Focus: Explore the practical aspects of administering the exemption using Version 4 (V4) procedures and tools.
  • Topics Covered:
    • Step-by-step walkthrough of V4 administration processes
    • Data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements
    • Best practices for communication with applicants
    • Compliance checks and audit readiness
  • Outcome: Attendees will leave with actionable skills to streamline exemption administration and ensure smooth program operation.

Continuing Education Hours / Re-Certification Credits

The Institute of Assessing Officers will award six (6) re-certification credits to all Institute members who attend this seminar. Eligible assessors and county directors who attend will receive education credit and reimbursement from ORPTS, pursuant to their rules.
