2026 Proposed Budget

The NYSAA Executive Board recently approved the proposed operating budget for 2026 that will be presented to its membership for a vote at the annual meeting in Lake George on October 7, 2025.

The proposed budget represents a 4.51% increase over the 2025 budget. As per standard practice when developing the budget, the Executive Board decided to include an estimated balance transfer from savings to balance the budget if needed at the end of 2026. For 2026, that estimated transfer is $12,900. However, for the past six years, no balance transfer from savings has been needed. 

The Executive Board decided to create credit card fees and legal expenses as categories that were previously categorized under miscellaneous.
