Brief Job Description
|
• Process parcel exemptions according to NYS guidelines and deadlines • Process monthly sales transfers (RPS, Roll, send DC (data collection) letters, update owners/addresses and share information with building department as well as Town Clerk) • Maintain accurate data for Assessment Roll • Process building permits and the like as well as prepping docs for data collection per the Assessor • Prepare for B.A.R/ Grievance day (the 4th Thursday following the first Tuesday in May) • Assist Assessor with reports, statistics, NYSTF and IT updates • Assist DC with maintaining accurate parcel information • Maintain office equipment • Maintain excellent customer service/support via in-person, phone, email • Maintain professional work relationship’s to ensure a seamless environment with all departments for addressing assessment procedure/practices • Be familiar with Greene County GIS, Search IQS, Imagemate and other necessary software/programs • Attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, independent worker, multitasker, work well under pressure of deadlines. Punctual and reliable.
